No Vampires, Please–We’re Mormon

Apparently, the Deseret Bookstore in Salt Lake City has all the sales it needs right now, and doesn’t want to traffic in Stephanie Meyer’s mega-selling novel Twilight. The store, which is owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has pulled the book–and Meyer’s three other bestsellers–off its shelves; they are still available by special order. In case we have any Utah readers, I’d like to direct you to Sam Weller’s Zion Bookstore at 254 South Main Street. I’ve never been in the store, but Sam writes a really great blog, and I’m sure “Utah’s Oldest and Largest Independent Bookstore” won’t let you down.–David E
